Under the auspices of Greek Tourism Organization and the Ministry of Tourism was held in Athens the Greek tourism awards 2018. The municipality of Heraklion, that was candidate in 3 different categories, won the 3 awards for Sports tourism, dedicated tourist website and touristic festival (for its Crete, one story, 5+1 civilizations festival).
